Hands wearing gold bracelets and a hand chain

Bracelets and anklets

A tape measure or a piece of string is all you need. Measure, add a little room for comfort, and compare it with the length on the product page.

Measure your wrist

  1. Wrap just above the wrist bone

Use a soft tape measure, or a piece of string you can lay against a ruler.

  2. Keep it snug, not tight

The tape should lie flat against your skin without pressing in.

  3. Add room to move

Add 1.5 cm for a close fit or 2 cm for a looser drape. That is the bracelet length to look for.

Bangles and cuffs

A closed bangle has to slide over your hand. Bring your thumb and little finger together, measure around the widest part of your hand, and choose a bangle with an inside circumference just larger than that. Open cuffs slip on from the side of the wrist; ease them open or closed a little at a time with both hands, rather than bending them at one point.

Anklets

Measure around your ankle just above the bone and add 2 to 3 cm so the anklet sits loosely and moves with you. Most adult anklets fall between 22 and 26 cm, and many have an extender chain to adjust the fit.

Hand chains

Hand chains have a bracelet and a finger loop joined by a chain. Use your bracelet length for the wrist, and your ring size guide for the finger loop where the product page gives one.
