What is a tennis bracelet?

A tennis bracelet is a slim, flexible line of evenly set stones, linked so it moves with the wrist. It works on its own for evenings or stacked with a chain bracelet for every day. Our tennis bracelets are set in 18k gold PVD on 316L stainless steel and arrive in gift-ready packaging.

Why is it called a tennis bracelet?

The name is usually traced to a US Open match, when tennis player Chris Evert asked for play to stop to look for a diamond line bracelet that had fallen from her wrist. The story caught on, and slim line bracelets set with stones have been called tennis bracelets ever since.

How do I clean a gold bracelet?

Wipe your bracelet with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove skin oils and lotion. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water and a little mild soap, then rinse and dry it fully, paying attention to links and clasps. Avoid jewellery dips and abrasive cloths, which can wear the gold finish.

How do I stack bracelets?

Mix widths and textures: pair a fine chain bracelet with a cuff, a bangle or a tennis bracelet. Two or three pieces on one wrist is usually enough, and a watch can sit in the stack too. Keep charm bracelets to one per wrist so the charms have room to move.

What size bracelet should I buy?

Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone with a soft tape or a strip of paper, then add about 1 to 2 cm for a comfortable fit. Chain bracelets usually have an extender, and open cuffs can be eased gently to fit. Our bracelet size guide shows how each style should sit.
