Wipe your earrings with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to lift skin oils and make-up. For a deeper clean, use a little lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, rinse, then dry them fully before storing. Avoid jewellery dips, toothpaste and abrasive cloths, which can wear the 18k gold PVD finish.

Hold the front of the earring steady with one hand. With the other, grip the butterfly back between finger and thumb and pull it straight back along the post, without twisting. If it feels tight, a gentle side to side wiggle while pulling usually frees it. Store the backs with the earrings so they do not go missing.
