Wipe your earrings with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to lift skin oils and make-up. For a deeper clean, use a little lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, rinse, then dry them fully before storing. Avoid jewellery dips, toothpaste and abrasive cloths, which can wear the 18k gold PVD finish.

Stud earrings sit directly on the earlobe on a straight post, with a back that holds them in place. They are the simplest style to wear every day and suit second and third piercings. Ours include sculpted gold, small stones and pearls, all in 18k gold PVD on 316L stainless steel.

Hold the front of the earring steady with one hand. With the other, grip the butterfly back between finger and thumb and pull it straight back along the post, without twisting. If it feels tight, a gentle side to side wiggle while pulling usually frees it. Store the backs with the earrings so they do not go missing.

Wait until your piercing has fully healed before changing to fashion earrings, and follow the advice of the person who pierced your ears. Healing times vary from person to person. Once healed, our studs and huggies are comfortable for everyday wear and for second and third piercings.
