Competition terms

1.About these terms

These terms apply to every competition and giveaway we run on our website, newsletter or social media, together with the details published for that competition (the prize, how to enter and the closing date). If the two differ, the competition details apply. They follow section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act.

2.Who can enter

• South African residents aged 18 or older.
• Not our employees, directors, suppliers, or their immediate families.
• One entry per person unless the competition details say otherwise.

3.How to enter

Each competition explains how to enter. You never have to buy anything to enter, and entering costs nothing beyond the normal cost of using the internet or sending a message. Entries after the closing time, or entries that break these terms, are not valid.

4.Choosing winners

Winners are drawn at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date. We contact winners by the method they used to enter. If a winner does not reply within 7 days, we may draw another winner.

5.Prizes

Prizes are as described in the competition details. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. We deliver prizes free of charge within South Africa within 30 days of confirming the winner.

6.Publicity and your information

We only publish a winner’s name or photograph with their permission. We use entrants’ personal information only to run the competition, and to send marketing only if the entrant opted in, as our privacy policy explains.

7.Records

We keep a record of each competition, its entrants and its winners for 3 years, as the Consumer Protection Act regulations require. Platforms such as Instagram or TikTok do not sponsor or run our competitions.
